ADELE 英國女歌手愛黛兒，她因為失戀，被男友狠甩之後，置之死地而後生，將情傷用音樂抒發終於寫出:Someone like you 、Rolling in the Deep、Dont you Remember 等經典療傷好歌，唱片銷售打敗LADY GAGA
2012年2月，愛黛兒在葛萊美獎中勇奪六個獎項，包括《最佳年度專輯》、《最佳年度唱片》、《最佳年度歌曲》、《最佳流行個人演出獎》、《最佳流行專輯獎》和《最佳短篇音樂錄影帶獎》。追平2010年碧昂絲於同一屆頒獎典禮獲獎最多的女歌手紀錄。
愛黛兒的音色被歸類為女低音。起初，樂評人認為愛黛兒的音色要比她的詞曲創作更吸引人。 靈魂樂的風格貫穿在愛黛兒的第一張專輯《19》當中，歌曲的字裡行間流露出感情破裂之後的內心痛苦。
